1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Namaz Silent Mode ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use the application on your Android device. We are committed to being fully transparent — the App was designed from the ground up to require zero personal data.

By installing or using the App you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect no personal information whatsoever.

The App stores the following data locally on your device only, in Android SharedPreferences (a private, on-device storage area that no other app or service can access):

• Your chosen prayer times (hour and minute for each of the five prayers)
• Which prayers have silent mode enabled or disabled
• Your preferred silence window (minutes before / after prayer)
• Whether you have completed the first-launch onboarding
• A temporary snapshot of your ringer mode so it can be restored after prayer

None of this data ever leaves your device. It is never transmitted over the internet, never uploaded to any server, and never shared with any third party — including us.

3. Permissions Used

The App requests the following Android permissions. Each one is used solely to deliver the core silent-mode feature.

4. Internet & Network Access

The App does not have the INTERNET permission and makes zero network requests of any kind. There are no analytics libraries, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party services embedded in the App.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose any information to third parties — because we have no information to share.

The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or social-media plugins.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

All App data is stored locally in Android's private SharedPreferences storage. It is automatically deleted when you:

• Uninstall the App (Android removes all App data on uninstall), or
• Use Settings → Apps → Namaz Silent Mode → Clear Data on your device.

Because no data is ever sent to us, we have nothing to delete on our end.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent laws.

8. Security

Since no data leaves your device, there is no server-side attack surface. On-device data is stored in Android's private app storage, which is protected by the operating system and inaccessible to other apps (unless your device is rooted).

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy — for example, if a future version of the App introduces new features that involve data — we will:

• Update the Effective date at the top of this page.
• Publish a note in the Play Store release notes.
• Where required by law, ask for your explicit consent before the change takes effect.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data under laws like the GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), or PDPA (Pakistan). Because the App collects no personal data, these rights are effectively already fully exercised by design. If you have any doubt, contact us and we will confirm in writing that we hold no data about you.
